The National Wesleyan Church Children's Choir made their debut singing "Come by Here" at the 6:00 pm singspiration service in August 2008. They were very enthusiastic and they did a great job on their first presentation. Our pastor's installation service in September 2008 was our next project and we wanted the children to be a part of this great event in our church. The children under the direction of Denise Canton-Blyden, and June James worked really hard and did an excellent job.

The fourth Sunday of each month has been assigned to the Children's Choir where we minister at both the 8:00am and 11:00am services. God has really blessed us as leaders and the choir in so many ways and we continue to praise him! We try to incorporate Sunday school lessons and memory verses in our choir activities, and even theme songs to make the learning experience a fun one. We the leaders would like to take this time to thank our parents, our pastors and all our ongoing supporters for all you do; whether encouraging words or a monetary donation, it's very much appreciated.

Our choir scripture is Psalms 66:2 "Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious." This is what the children strive to do each time they minister. We have greatly increased in numbers from 8 children in August 2008 to now 33 in February of 2009. God has truly been good to us and we have truly come this far by Faith, leaning only on the Lord. The choir meets at 1:00 pm each Saturday until 3:00 pm, the first segment for music theory and hand chimes ensemble and the second segment for choir.
