The Just Older Youth Club or JOY Club was formed as a need for organizing adults 55+ in NWC. Our seniors represent a rapid growing demographic in our society with a vast opportunity for ministry, and the club could become a very important element of our church’s ministries.

The mission of the Ministry is to provide an opportunity for this age group to grow spiritually by serving God with all they have (no matter how small they may think it is), thereby becoming more like Christ every day. This is also an avenue to foster social interactions among the group.

The JOY Club had its first kick-off / introductory event on February 15. Celebrating Valentines with a tea party that was held at the Church Office. The event was well attended and everyone expressed an interest in becoming a part of the group.
