Our Mission is to grow and stand firm in God's word through discipleship, worship, ministry, outreach and fellowship. Our goal is to provide a safe place for young adults at National Wesleyan Church to meet and fellowship, speak freely about what they are going through in life, work and with their spiritual walk with God. We aim to provide an encouraging atmosphere for young adults to participate in fun and exciting activities with other young Christians. This ministry creates a place for young people both at home and away at college to feel confident that they can share life experiences.

In February of 2009 the Young Adult Ministry officially kicked off its ministry with Black History month activities: singing, poetry readings, performances by the Echoes of Pan in Praise and essay readings by the several youth and adults. There was an evening of musical rendition by the Antebellum South with guests Tina Greene, the Southern Gospel singers and a memorable presentation by National's own RADM Denise Canton. The 2009 Black History Month Essay competition encouraged the youth of National Wesleyan Church between Elementary and High school ages to answer the question "Why is Barack Obama's Presidency Important to You?"

Our ministry continues to grow with God's grace and as we learn more of Jesus and each other we encourage young adults between the ages of 18 and 35 to come to the meetings each Saturday at 6 pm where we have a series of activities. Our topics include discipleship, social issues, pride, stewardship, living a Christian life in this new age, religion, and other current issues. For more information please contact Sis.
